Jillian Blount, MOT, OTR/L

Owner & Practitioner Nature mobile pediatric occupational therapy OT

Jillian was a special educator for a decade before becoming an Occupational Therapist and has experience working with children, adolescents and their families, helping to improve overall skills in regulation, relationships and resiliency. Jillian has substantial training and experience in several behavior and de-escalation strategies and can help families implement what works for them.

Jillian loves reading, learning new things, watching movies, spending time outdoors, gardening, and being on the water.

Michael Blount

Michael Blount earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2008, a Master of Elementary Education in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 2018. He served six years in the Army Reserves. His work experience includes human resources, health insurance customer service, health insurance claims payment processing, general accounting, municipal accounting/finance, state agency accounting, and elementary education.

When not focused on work, Michael coaches soccer, enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors.

Grace Smithson

Grace is a born and raised Alaskan. Growing up in Kenai, and then traveling/residing in many small areas and/or towns, such as Beluga, Skagway, Homer, Seldovia, and Port Graham. She is the friendly voice behind the phone when you call with questions, for scheduling, or general information. She has worked as an Administrative Assistant for Real Estate Companies, Airlines, and other small outlets. 

When she is not working, she is a full time Homemaker. Her hobbies include baking, crocheting, riding motorcycles, and enjoying Saturday football games (GO VOLS!).

Makayla Ryan, OTD, OTR/L ‍ ‍

Makayla grew up and attended school in Wyoming. After graduating from OT school, she, her husband and their dog Moose moved to Alaska, now calling the valley home! Makayla has experience working with both adults and children. She enjoys the opportunity to continue building knowledge and skills with various continuing education opportunities. Makayla enjoys assisting children and their families promote regulation, growth and engagement in everyday life. 

When Makayla is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, being outdoors (hiking, camping, photography, gardening) and baking.

WildFree Kids is in network with the following providers: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Moda, Cigna, TriWest, Denali KidCare/TEFRA (Alaska Medicaid), and United. We also offer a cash pay rate and can provide a superbill.

We are pending applications with the major homeschool programs in the area, including IDEA, MatSu Central, Twindly Bridge, PACE, Raven, Cyberlinks, Totem, and Focus.
